The aim of this paper is the construction of some para-Norden metric connections of the first type and of the second type on almost para-Norden manifolds. These are metric connections with respect to the associated twin metric, have nonvanishing torsion and in some aspects they are similar with the para-Bismut connection from para-Hermitian geometry.
